MAHARISHI

We came across Maharishi’s London store in 1999. It was practically Disneyland for us — an assortment of Japanese toys and clothing in myriad colors and styles of camouflage, the print that has come to characterize the brand. One of the pioneers of London streetwear, Maharishi has collaborated with a slew of artists, always remaining true to the camo and embroidery that they’re known for. Eschewing trends is a difficult feat for any fashion brand nowadays, and while some would say it’s a mistake, in the case of Maharishi, we’ll beg to differ.
